Why does Twizzle have two different colours?
The outside of Twizzle is made of strong, resilient material, so you can get a good sqeeze on the lid. The inside of Twizzle is made of soft, grippy material to make sure you get the maximum grip on the lid.
Can I put lids back on really tight with my Twizzle?
Yes, Twizzle is designed to hold a jar lid once it has come off the jar. You can put the lid back on using your Twizzle to get an airtight closure.
Can I put Twizzle in the dishwasher?
Yes, Twizzle is designed to be dishwasher-proof.
Are there any lids Twizzle doesn’t fit?
Twizzle fits all standard lids from 85mm diameter downwards but there are a few non-standard lids. For these, if they are in between two of the gripping region sizes in Twizzle you can gently bend Twizzle open or squeeze the handles together hard.
Is Twizzle made from recycled plastics?
Yes, the outside part of Twizzle is made from recycled polypropylene.
Is Twizzle manufactured in the UK?
Yes, Twizzle is plastics-injected in Lancashire.
Is Twizzle an original design?
Yes, Twizzle was invented and developed in Cumbria and is patent-pending.
Can Twizzle be bent open to fit on very big lids?
No, Twizzle is designed to work on lids 85mm in diameter or smaller. Do not try to bend Twizzle open to fit on the biggest lids.
